My life depends on my resisting the vaccine, IMO. I feel so strongly about this -- it is a line I will not ever cross. There was a time, around September-December 2021, when vaccine passports were being pushed, that I wondered if it might actually come to pass that I would not be allowed to enter grocery stores -- as crazy as that seemed, things had changed so quickly already so it didn't seem out of the realm of possibility. I asked a few friends if that ended up happening, would they buy me food in exchange for me cooking meals for them, or something like that.

But in another sense, my quality of "life" also depends on my retaining sanity and staying out of fear, and not masking (doing something utterly nonsensical that others believe in to such a degree that they freak out if I am noncompliant). I need to do my part to help create the sane and compassionate world I would like to live in.
