I remember as a dental student in the late 1980’s at UCSF, we had to walk by a dog lab on a daily basis. The barking and crying was difficult to hear. As Dr. Makary recently said, there are many other ways to test new drugs that give results of high quality such that we have no need to use dogs in experiments. It’s about time. Really, although he’s a despicable, evil man, Fauci wasn’t the only one who used dogs in their research.
