I’m not saying that at all. What I am saying is now that we have ways to test products that work just as well, according to Dr. Makary and Dr. Bhattacharya, whose opinions I trust, we no longer have the need to use dogs as research subjects. In the past while that may not have been the case, we dental students still felt compassion for the dogs who gave their lives in the name of research.
