Sure. When the communists confiscated (stole) the oilfields Venezuela was a wealthy country, one of the wealthiest in the world. When they ran those oilfields into the ground, it was so unfair of those capitalists who had seen their oilfield equipment stolen from them to expect payment to fix it. How dare they? Totally not the fault of the socialists for expecting all the profits with none of the expenses of maintaining them. Yep - all those Capitalists went and invested their time, money, and industries in countries where they would actually get to keep some of the fruits of their labors and pay their workers a fair wage, so it's their fault for not letting the commies of Venezuela continue to rob them.
