I'm pretty sure the media doesn't understand that they are making themselves increasingly irrelevant by simultaneously screeching that cow farts are killing the planet and that these riots aren't really happening. It's like the CDC, FDA, and NIH saying "this new booster will help you, we swear" after making numerous false claims about the last one: "it stays in the shoulder", "it prevents infection", "it prevents transmission, get it or you're killing grandma", "we never claimed it would do anything but lower hospitalization rates"...
