Perhaps we run in different circles, but I can't see that the majority of Hong Kong doesn't support their cause. I just see that the National Security Law is choking them into silence/compliance.

In any case, I also wish they'd had more clear/realistic expectations. And that more people had been willing to get arrested instead of hitting back, and to condemn violence from protesters.
