Are you in the US? Are you a citizen? I was thankful I was never refused entry as a citizen, but to deny the right to travel and right to family life for a spouse is unacceptable. CCP practices indeed. We spent a couple years navigating the various and changing rules for travel and even now that everyone but the US is temporarily done with the charade, I have a nasty after taste concerning some countries. Never say never, but I have a long memory. If you can be principled it's the way to be, but family is family and while there are limits to what I am prepared to do, sometimes things need to be done to survive in this world. I would never advise anyone to take the shot, but getting a fake card at this point is probably what we need to do. Mom isn't getting any younger and neither are her grandkids....
