I am a seasoned RN with almost-complete clinical grad degree and decades of gritty nursing experience in the trenches. I worked frontline 2019-2020 and my hospital cheered me and my coworkers as “essential” and “heroes.” Then suddenly I became expendable for “non compliance” despite decades of successful flu shot declinations. Why could I decline the flu shot and work unmasked for years, but not the new shot? This fall I walked away from my RN career, my pension and grad school over the mandates because it violates the moral and medical ethics I have followed for my entire career. No way in hell am I going to comply with tyranny or risk my health with an experimental, irreversible, gene therapy based, non-sterilizing injection from Big pHARMa for a disease with a 98+% survival rate. I am pissed as hell and I have nothing to lose. My cattitude gets bigger and badder and more non-compliant each day.
