I am swedish. With all due respect this is all bullshit. Saying we swedes are more intelligent, rational and likely to comply with stuff stops short of racism.

Sweden's population density is only low as a whole because the entire north of the country is a inhospitable area where the largest city has 90k people. Sweden is a heavily urbanized country, more than many heavily affected Southern European countries.

The single household thing is true, though when you live in tiny apartments, sharing common areas such as the laundry, in a multi storey building, the importance of this in a pandemic is kind of diluted. This is how the average swede lives.

Sweden has a relatively high degree of public transport usage and its high purchasing power means one of the countries where citizens go abroad the most. The bullshit about "every swede has a cozy cottage in a villa and hides on it for half of the year", I am so tired of this. Where foreigners are taking this from? I know literally NO ONE that has such. Real estate is EXTREMELY expensive here.

Incoming international travel was NEVER restricted for any citizen of the European Union. That is almost half a billion people. Those restrictions were "recommended" at EU level and Sweden just complied. At a point, very very late in the party, Sweden started requiring those negative tests but wasn't much of a deterrent.
