Tariffs, just a reminder, are simply taxes—taxes imposed on the American public. Trump has promised 25% tariffs on our allies, Canada and Mexico, and an additional 10% on China (unless he backs out again at the last minute, as he did when he previously threatened tariffs). Folks who claim to have voted for Trump because they wanted a better economy under Trump failed to read the room and Project 2025. As a result, we will all suffer.
