Depending upon your relationship and how you speak to each other, the way he handles knowledge trickling in will be either denial or a growing dread as more and more people die and some "expert" around him will have to admit things like, "Wow. Never lost a single kid and now I lost 23 this month," or, "It's strange but an 80% miscarriage rate didn't used to be so 'normal'?!"
