Since we have fallen so far down this hill to our own destruction, we are going to have to learn to play the long game ourselves. Right now I don't think we have many in our government, elected or in agencies, that can do it or are willing. Damage control is the best they can attempt. But, we have some important tools with learning and teaching our history, our constitution, science, and industry that built our nation. We also have our diverse culture from being a nation of immigrants. What we have to do is plan where we want to be in 100 years, and look at what failings are built into our adversary's countries and plans.
