There's a lot of concern about gen AI, but it wasn't gen AI that gave the country the Russian collusion hoax, very fine people, lockdowns, Biden sharp as tack, etc. IMO, what's far worse than gen AI is having a limited set of heavily biased, controlled media sources. That's what allows you to control the narrative. Think of how many people still believe in the above nonsense. Gen AI didn't do that.
