I would relate to them how we experienced the government school/indoctrination system brainwashing the "gifted" students (including our child) to change children's fixed beliefs, as Benjamin Bloom termed it. His college text books which are used to train/indoctrinate all school teachers-to-be in how to do that changing. Bloom's Cognitive, Affective and Psychomotor Domains, that are all the same domains used to change the students' fixed beliefs. The Harry Stottlemeier books from Montclair State U. so sneakily contrived to turn children against their family and cause them to make the government school employees their family. Recruiting the kids the government deems THE GIFTED for extra special brainwashing. Grooming those kids to prepare them to be the next batch of ELITES used to control all the rest of the population.
