New Zealand is a country of 5 million people and our government has brazenly paid more than $US60m in bribes to mainstream media described as support for ‘public interest journalism’. This has created narrative supporting, truth suppressing coverage that is Orwellian. Very occasionally something ‘real’ gets past the editor’s filters.
