If only it were so easy. He’s not a talentless hack, he did the writing, he drew the worlds, he got the performances. Any of cast could have walked away at any time, they didn’t cos they knew they were doing great work. He deserves punishment for any crime he committed but you can’t deny his work was ground breaking for TV at that time. Who ever his Daddy may have been wouldn’t have gotten past his first failure, it may have opened the door but it didn’t make him a phenomenon, which was is what he became before the fall. Just acknowledge that flawed people can be a talent and a shit at that the same time. Life ain’t perfect.
