I just finished book Two. Not sure I like the conceit that everything in the Hawaii segment is in Kavita’s letter to David. But here I have questions: why was Kavita so passive? What about Edward made him submit to living in that primitive place and not accepting any modern conveniences except when his son was there? Why does the author keep naming here hero’s suffer from mysterious Illnesses(david in Book 1; Kavita on Book 2) Very frustrating experience. Onto Book 3!
