Over the weekend my wife and I got together with a friend, and eventually the subject of masks came up. I mentioned the recent study showing that masks basically accomplish nothing. Not only had she not heard about the study, but it was clear that she had never even considered the notion that masks could be anything but wonderful for preventing sickness. Nobody in her life had ever mentioned such a thing before.

I like to think that I planted a notion in her mind that might make her look more critically at the issue in the future. And a lot of people need that nudge to get them moving in the right direction. So keep nudging.
