The faction that presents itself as representing the "downtrodden" are really the ones dong the downtrodding. They see themselves as the enlightened champions of their lessers, which would be great if those lessers only shut up and did what they were told. They have no empathy, no respect, no regard for those outside their bubble. And it has become too obvious for people to ignore any more.
