Well, that sucks. Technology has not made my life easier. My husband has heard me gripe about that so often. He's a patient man. It's annoying and creates more irritation and cost than it's worth.
I do know that it wasn't until caregiving that I was thankful for my cell phone. I remember the exact day I told him I was grateful I had a cell phone to use after a huge tree had fallen on his mom's house, and I was the only one available at the time to help her with the situation. She had dementia, and was trying to cope with her, calling the insurance guy, my husband, his sisters, blah, blah, taking pictures, I realized the value. But overall, it and all other devices and platforms are not helpful, but evil.
If you ever have care questions or needs, or just want to talk, let me know. My mom was a quad, and mother-in-law had dementia. Did caring for over 17 years, and had a caregiver's support group for about 20.
