Ominous. I hope, Caitlin and readers, that events might elicit a resurgence of and victory for President Bashar Al-Assad and his sovereign nation...that is/has been for decades so beset by those for whom "sovereignty" means nothing. (But: IRAN and RUSSIA caving to Genocidal/Colonial Zionism and its obedient servant??? -- goddam.)

I'm particularly sad because, from very afar and from reports and video footage that I deemed credible, I've "loved" President Al-Assad and his lovely, courageous wife Asma as I love my own two daughters who are in the same age range. I mourn for them and for Syria....

Note: I haven't kept abreast of this at all: What will happen to Palestinian refugees in Syria? Angst....
