I would respectfully disagree- the left and media like PBS have been advocating for a removal of the 1st and 2nd amendment my entire life as they are “out of touch and irrelevant” in the modern era. They said, they did at some adopt the “living constitution” model as a poor consolation prize.

IMO we will definitely hasten its demise if we adopt the use of “special privileges” carve outs we’ve been fighting for 30 years.
