Obviously, Hamas knew what the response from Israel would be. So what was the purpose of their attacks? Some claim it was to derail the Saudi-Israeli agreement and thereby support Iran.

As far as the support from Americans for Hamas and/or the people of Gaza and/or the Palestinians, my concern is that those protestors (idiots though they may be) will be told to shut up. We just went through that crap with Covid. I truly believe that Voltaire was right. Nobody should have to shut up. They do need to debate the issues in a public discourse so the issues can be aired.
