Thank you. In fact, our daughter is named Rosemary! :) We have talked pretty openly with our pediatrician, we rejected the MMR for ethical reasons and the doctor accepted that. Even so, our pediatrician seems to be conventional and not sympathetic to our vax concerns, and encourages all the vaxxes. Still, we could decline the Tdap; it's our choice. That's why I am trying to get info. It's a hard decision to make, because I've heard tetanus is a bad disease and I'd like my kids to be protected. But I don't like that the tetanus shot is combined with other vaxxes, and it's hard to do research to really understand the choice. On one side, there's the manufacturers/state regulators/doctors who push the vaxxes uncritically, and anti-vax activists who oppose any and all vaxxes. I feel caught in the middle, wondering if all vaxxes are really bad, or are there some with an acceptable risk profile...?
