It seems naive to me to fault Blinken for being a sociopath. Of course he is a sociopath; it is a requirement for his job, and a man who wears such a fine suit needs a job to support it. The more serious question is why we support Blinken and his suit, as well as the other sociopaths mentioned in the article. Do we have an answer for that?
