Those smart people were fooled, I believe, because they don't read any books, or articles, that tell the truth about the medical industry, and also not having read about natural healing, supplements, how the body works, etc. Essentially, they may be smart, but they are ignorant about health, and most likely a few other subjects, such as the reality of politics and who runs the government.

An excellent book is Murder by Injection, the Story of the Medical Conspiracy Against America, by Eustace Mullins.
