Our librarians during Covid were absolute tyrants. They sat behind their plexiglass windows, fully masked and gloved up, suspiciously eyeballing anybody who dared to walk into the building. I suggested that one of them should perhaps do a little reading since they were actually librarians to understand how ridiculous they were being. They threatened to ban me from the library forever.
