The app for independent voices

It would seem the most obvious and glaring reason for these high trust societies, especially Asia, where I am most familiar, they are homogeneous. They have cultural conventions that are there from birth, followed as naturally as if you were falling out of bed because they have a dominant culture that they are proud of. Little friction. The West consumed with growing GDP, and ploughing as many different nationalities into each square kilometre as possible, proclaiming we are all as interchangeable as LEGO figures, is delusional. Worse, we don’t have any agreed upon set of cultural norms for fear of being considered racist. You can’t have nice things and offer no price for it in exchange for the privilege of partaking in them. Trump is not anywhere near aspirational to bring about safeguarding Western values.
