A truthful comment about another person is not equivalent to speaking Ill of that person. People are not better people in death than in life. Charlie Kirk was not a nice man. He was a white Christian nationalist, a conspiracy theorist, a vaccine denier, who promoted the use of hydroxychloroquine in favor of vaccinations, masking and social distancing, an election denier who financed the transportation of hundreds of insurrectionists on January 6, 2021. He was homophobic, transphobic, islamaphobic, xenophobic, anti reproductive choice, a misogynist, and a racist. In brief, he is exactly the sort of man that I avoid and reject. I could have never been his friend or taken him seriously. He was high school graduate and I have no reason to believe that he was intellectually curious or well read. He was a reactionary rather than a thinker. He had uninformed opinions on seemingly every subject. He was by all accounts, a good and faithful husband to his wife and a loving father. They will miss him. I will not.
There you go, Pam Bondi. Come after me for speaking the truth if you like. I am 77 years old and don't give a good shit about you, your king or what you think. There can be no consequences imposed by the government for non threatening or non inciting speech. Hate speech is not a real thing. Kirk was right about that. There may be other consequences, of course. There may be resulting social isolation, and that is legitimate. If people don't want to associate with me because I wrote the truth about Charlie Kirk, that is fair. I would not have associated with Charlie Kirk, either. I did not respect him or his ignorant view points or those people who repeat them.
