I'm really, really bad at math. And I've never needed to be good at it. But that's also meant that I have avoided certain things, like credit card debt, mortgages, bank loans, etc.,.... Not to make excuses, but abuse, alcohol, and drugs, were the primary factors for me, in middle school & high school/college, that kept me from leaning any math beyond simple geometry & intro. algebra....

So it's not really my lack of math skills or education that's the problem. Many, if not most people can probably relate!
