As I approach my seventh decade, I wish this dialogue was available 5 decades ago.

I grew up with the concept that marriage was a patriarchal institution design to keep women oppressed. Sadly I thought if I could discover how it kept women oppressed I would have the perfect relationship, simply by not oppressing women.

Little did I know the heart ache that it would bring me.
