I've actually been expecting something like this since not long after GFC so not really building a case. I knew we were doomed long ago and have been behaving accordingly since having that epiphany

And yes I think we agree --- this will end very badly. It has the potential to end with 8B humans ripping each other to pieces and literally eating each other.
