Time is too short to engage with people who will never 'get it'... no matter how simplified and powerful your argument is.

You expanded upon the warnings of Bossche -- adding to the thesis - and explaining it in a way that most people can understand (Bossche writes for other scientists so much of what he says loses the average person).

Alas some will not understand the danger we are in no matter how it is presented.
