I can't believe the ethnocentric cruelty of those who can ignore the deaths of thousands who are sporadically killed in Palestine. While we all loudly and emphatically condemn the violent Hamas incursion into Israel where is the reciprocal concern for the many thousands of Palestinians being bombed, starved, jailed and tortured? Israelis demand sympathy for themselves, but have only sadism for the Palestinians. The two thousand Palestinian children killed so far don't even register to those executing the ongoing blockade of food, water, medicine and fuel. Is there reason to doubt Israel's word after decades of lying about the nuclear bombs it was making after signing the Nuclear Non- Proliferation Treaty? And imprisoning the scientist Mordechai Vanunu (sp?) for years for speaking of it? Nor can we ignore the crew of Dominick Suter's Urban Moving Systems like Paul Kurzberg and his brother who filmed the 9/11/01 bombing of the World Trade Center which was well reported in the press, but denied by Israel. History tells us a lot about the origins of what's happening now and without knowledge of that history nothing makes sense. Accusations of conspiracy without examining the facts only engenders splashback on accusers who are trying to smear those presenting some inconvenient truths.
