There are people who trust the establishment, because it has always been good to them. They get their view of the larger world from establishment propaganda sources because it is easiest, and because they don't feel the revulsion toward it that those of us do that have ever been burnt by it.

Once, they were the smart, tolerant ones, educated community leaders who were most in the know because they were the first to tune into the news. Now they should no longer be called "liberal," as they have become the most illiberal political faction in the country. They are simply the ones who trust and internalize whatever narrative the establishment outlets feed to them.
