Now that I think of it, Bond-as-content has been true for decades. I know multiple men who know all the cars, watches and jacket brands that Bond wears…and no other cars, watches or jacket brands besides (except what’s on display in the mall). Makes me laugh if people feel that they’re losing some kind of hallowed cinematic name.
