Right, but that’s why I said it may not matter. I know some states had some rumblings about not awarding unemployment to people who were fired as a result of not complying with the mandates, but I am not sure whether that ended up being the case and if so, what states are adhering to that. Regardless, I still don’t see any upside in quitting. Heard many stories of people whose work tried to force jabs and when push came to shove, they didn’t end up following through.
The fact is that all of this is on some pretty murky legal grounds and I think a lot of companies aren’t really sure how things are going to turn out. So many just want to be able to say that they tried to have a fully vaccinated staff but are unwilling to go as far as firing people, in the event of future lawsuits.
