Interesting article - I need to spend more time reading it to grasp all the points! What you say about lifestyle is so true. Obviously, we all have some genetic luck - or not maybe - but there's no doubt ageing can be slowed by lifestyle choices. People need to know how to attend to this problem, but you cannot thrust this information down people's throats and tell them what to do. It should start in schools. (More important than all the current 'education' about the social rights of minority groups!) Much of the problem stems from the food industries, many of which are totally corrupt and out to make maximum profits. ( Book - The Big Fat Lie - about fats and the food industry. Well written with an analysis of the American food industry and why people got fat - lots of parallels with vaccines and drug companies). Many people are reluctant to take charge of their own health too. They just want a magic pill to take when they get sick, -this attitude was prevalent regarding the Covid vaccines - but it doesn't work like that. It takes time and effort to be healthy with a strong immune system being part of the equation. To eat well, exercise, get proper sleep and avoid stress takes time. As one ages it can take more time. For me it's the only approach - and you need to start as early as possible - why would I want to spend the last twenty years of my life in a sick, unhealthy state? For many people, the problems can only be approached little by little. Poorer sections of society will struggle more with those principles too. It's much easier to have a good diet when you have enough money. Our health services generally do not approach things from a lifestyle angle, although that is improving slowly. Doctors have very little training or knowledge about food and nutrition either. The problems are actually immense.
