Charles Murray wrote a book on 2015 or so called By the People that lays out a possible solution to the overwhelming bureaucracy in this country. He said civil disobedience on the many ridiculous regulations coupled with defense funds that help businesses and people defend themselves against the regulators to render their power useless would eventually overwhelm them and force them to stay in the bounds of common sense instead of the tyranny we are witnessing now.

I would much rather try that possible solution then give more power to the government to try and accomplish it.
