People adjust to what they have.

Is life better when at the end of the day you watch television? Play video games? Or sit around the fire in the hearth and tell stories to your family?

Is work better when you're on a computer in an air-conditioned office for 8 hours? Or when you're outside, plowing for the planting season?

Is family better when your son explains why he wants to inject himself with female hormones and dress like a hooker in a vain attempt to become a woman? Or when you're working out the details of his wedding with the daughter of the farmer next door, because that's the only girl his age in a ten mile radius?

Is learning better when you discuss the Bible at church or synagogue for the 100th time and only a few other books that the village has? Or information on the superhighway so you're discussing the slight variations to the latest release of Pokemon characters -- the imagined limitations of an imagined creature put out by a company for money?

Who knows?
