I actually called and spoke with a blood bank person yesterday about this. For one thing, blood only lasts for 42 days maximum. For another, I got the impression that the surgeon is going to have to be on board. To me, the surgeon is the key piece. For the enterprising pureblood, know that it is illegal to sell anything body related if it goes into someone else to heal them (you can sell body parts if it goes for research, for example). So the blood bank has to be a non profit. The hospital pays the blood bank how much it costs them to get the blood. That of course includes all the normal things to run the non profit, including rent and staff salaries etc. I wasn't confident in the person's answer about being able to tell if the blood was vaxed or not. He mentioned antibody tests but I'm skeptical that would be a reliable indicator?
