I have a different take. Walz was selected by The Party because he will, and has, do as he is directed, and support The Party above all else. For this he has been generously rewarded. Rather than assume he's a indiot, I ascribe his behavior to simple greed. He enjoys a royal lifestyle and the illusion of power. Harris was elevated for similar reasons.

ON the other hand...AOC and Maxime Waters are exactly as they appear. I've had the misfortune of meeting both. That level of clueless and arrogance can't be fake. If it is, well, they are both better actors than Hollywood has ever seen!
