Had that talk with several docs. Noted my personal history, which is that every time I've had a normal flu vaccine I've had an adverse reaction. Also the times I've had the flu can be counted on one hand (in over 6 decades now). Two of the three times were years I got vaccinated - so I got really sick twice those years. Only one of the docs interviewed had the right answer - the risk exceeds the potential benefit. Guess which doc I "hired" ?
