Look at how organizations that teach "outdated" notions like honor, responsibility, self-reliance and independence like BSA have been attacked, demonized, and finally altered so as to support The Party line. Deemed to have been "teaching the wrong things" they had to be "corrected". This is only possible when parents are properly trained (which is why it takes 2 generations to get where we are).
