I don’t know if this is any encouragement for you and your generation, but I personally haven’t let a lack of job prospects discourage me. I still practice as much as I can, read this newsletter, attend lectures and conferences, etc. I always figured that when the generation of China watchers “ages out” as you said they’d want to pass the torch in a way. Do you see any circumstances or opportunities for things like this to occur in the near future? Distant future? Any advice for how I can put myself in a good position to be recognized?
