If Eisenhower warned about the military industrial complex 70 years ago, today he would be warning about the tech-data-military industrial complex, as exemplified by Mr Thiel and the companies that he nurtures to turn everyone into serfs.

This Thiel guy is such a fake: he talks about being "libertarian". But what kind of liberty is possible in the pervasive surveillance regime that he has masterminded building for the militarised state?
