The sponsors are in a tough spot. If they normally would sponsor an olympics and pass on Beijing then they should expect mass boycott and government issues in China. If they sponsor people outside CHina may be angry but how many would participate in some sort of a mass boycott like they would see in China, and how many governments would pressure them? Cynical I know but I just think the PRC is much better at economic coercion and penalties
