I love this passage: "Every parent should always be a contrarian when it comes to their child. Ask a lot of questions, dig deep, seek to understand everything that someone wants to do with their kid. Get a second, third and fourth opinion. It’s your duty to not be mindless when it comes to caring for your children." That describes me as a mother, after seeing my firstborn's health take a sudden turn for the worst after his 4 month round of vaccines. Fortunately nothing that affects him anymore at 23, but enough to wake me up. After that (at least) I became hypervigilant and am happy to have been.
