That's the fact, but it's inconvenient for those who are married to the oppressor-oppressed narrative to such a degree that the brutality displayed by Hamas cannot be acknowledged. It's that simple. The Palestinians themselves are under the thumb of Hamas, whose members cool their heels in Turkey and Qatar while the Palestinians receive the fabulous gift of martyrdom and a one-way ticket to Paradise.
