CindyArizona, that's so effed up (to use one of my own Dad's favorite phrases, which sorta seems appropriate here). My situation is unusual but be that as it may, I simply cannot fathom becoming a part of the lock-step that appears to have befallen the medical profession -- *EVEN NOW,* despite more evidence mounting by the day, in studies on paper and in eyewitness anecdotes from everyone with eyes. That is what utterly boggles me ... I've been through the Borg Medical Training myself, but I like to think that even if my circumstances had been different, I'd retain at least some shred of common sense and critical thinking skills -- and moreover, the ability to critically READ peer-reviewed literature, which we were, in fact, actually taught to do in school. Something just seems so disturbingly "OFF" about this whole thing when it comes to MDs in particular, and I'm so sorry that you have to experience it firsthand in your own son.
